Card Night is Back

Last night saw the return of Card Night. We started having card nights last winter when we were all trapped inside during the cold weather. When summer time comes and people are busier...we take a break.

Our game of choice is Michigan Rummy. But we don't play with the chips.We pull out the big guns.

Well, it is a recession you know. Hopefully the economy will turn around and we can go up to playing with Nickels.

It's lots of fun seeing everyone go crazy for a pile of about 15 pennies per pot...but hey they add up! Aside from the cards, the food is yummy, and takes over the table. Everyone brings a different appetizer to share. Let's just say that before the night was up three of us had changed into jammy bottoms, matching or not! And a 4th would have but apparently her legs mirrored those of a gorilla. Did I mention, it is winter :)
